BlackRock has expanded its UK ETF sales team with the appointment of Handelsbanken’s Nathan Henry, ETF Stream can reveal.
Based in London, Henry (pictured) will be responsible for promoting the firm’s ETF range to investors across the UK.
Henry, who was a member of ETF Stream’s ETF Buyers Club, joins from Handelsbanken Wealth and Asset Management where he spent the past six years as an investment associate.
He started his career as an analyst at JP Morgan in 2017.
BlackRock declined to comment.
While other ETF issuers have undergone leadership reshuffles in recent months – with Northern Trust Asset Management, State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) and Global X all seeing departures – the world’s largest asset manager has not seen changes to the upper ranks of its European business since Jane Sloane replaced Stephen Cohen as head of iShares EMEA in April 2021.
Henry’s new role adds to a week of change in ETF Stream’s ETF Buyers Club community, with Hargreaves Lansdown appointing Victoria Hasler as head of fund research after her departure from EQ Investors earlier this month, ETF Stream revealed.
