Chicago Trading Company (CTC) has hired Citi’s Ben Miller as head of institutional ETF sales for EMEA.
Miller (pictured), who joined the business at the start of September, joins as the company looks to build its market making team in the region.
The firm said it hopes to offer an alternative request-for-quote (RFQ) liquidity for institutional investors across Europe and the US.
A spokesperson for CTC said: “CTC has begun to establish a robust team of experienced ETF traders, salespeople, and developers to build out their ETF market making business.”
Miller spent over three years at Citi where he was most recently vice president, head of ETF specialist sales for EMEA.
Prior to this, he worked at Optiver where he was responsible for ETF institutional trading for the UK and Ireland.
Miller also held roles in WisdomTree’s capital market team and Mako Trading.
CTC is a global market maker trading on over roughly 20 exchanges from their Chicago, New York and London headquarters.
