Thematic ETF issuer Circa5000’s head of capital markets Magdalena Kowalik has left after seven months.
Kowalik departs after joining from Global X, where she spent two years working in the firm’s ETF capital markets division.
She started her career with over two years as capital markets associate at the London Stock Exchange (LSE) cash secondary markets and Turquoise multilateral trading facility.
Kowalik’s departure from Circa5000 in April came within two months of the firm entering the European ETF market, with its suite of five maiden thematic ETFs listing on the LSE on Wednesday.
The ETFs are:

CIRCA5000 Green Energy & Technology UCITS ETF (C5KG)
CIRCA5000 Health & Wellbeing UCITS ETF (C5KH)
CIRCA5000 Social & Economic Empowerment UCITS ETF (C5KE)
CIRCA5000 Sustainable Food & Biodiversity UCITS ETF (C5KF)
Circa5000 did not respond when approached for comment.
