Keshava Shastry, global head of capital markets at DWS, is set to depart after a decade with the firm, ETF Stream can reveal.
Shastry (pictured) spent over 10 years at the German asset manager after joining from Credit Suisse Asset Management in November 2013.
An industry source told ETF Stream DWS’s European head of capital markets Jamie Hartley will replace Shastry whose next move is yet to be announced.
DWS declined to comment.
Shastry is also chair of the Investment Association’s ETF committee and chair of the European Fund and Asset Management Association’s ETF task force.
He started his career as a trade at Citi before joining BlackRock in the capital markets team in 2007 where he spent four years.
At the ETF Stream Awards 2022, Shastry won the ‘Outstanding Contribution To ETFs’ award for his contribution to the European ETF market.
