Roxane Sanguinetti has departed from GHCO after nearly five years at the firm and following its acquisition by Mirae Asset Securities in December 2022.

Sanguinetti (pictured) joined GHCO as head of fixed income and investor relations in January 2020, before being promoted to head of strategy in 2021.

During her tenure, Sanguinetti advanced the firm’s fixed income ETF market making and investor relations, before focusing on digital assets.

Prior to joining GHCO, Sanguinetti was vice president of capital markets at HUBX.

She has also worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as an ETF and delta one trader.

In a LinkedIn post she said: "Well it’s official - after nearly five years at GHCO, I am off to a new chapter!

"We kept pushing and growing, established GHCO as a strong competitor to the existing duopoly in the European ETF market, built long-term partnerships with over 30 asset managers (including nine of the top 10), launched HUNDREDS of new ETFs!

"And a year ago, we officially sold the business to Mirae Asset Securities, one of the most powerful Asian investment banks."

Sanguinetti held the role of co-head of Women in ETFs London chapter, an organisation that brings together over 10,000 women and male allies across the ETFs ecosystem.

Her advocacy for diversity and inclusion also extended to Alma Angels, which is an inclusive community of investors actively supporting ambitious female founders.

This summer has seen a regular cadence of reshuffles in the ETF industry, with Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) appointing State Street Global Advisors’ Simon Hutcheson as head of international ETF strategy and development, while DWS hired former ETF Stream editor Tom Eckett to its ETF sales team.
