The Bloomberg Energy and Metals Equal-Weighted Total Return Index aims to track the performance of an equal-weighted basket of 12 energy and metal (base & precious) commodity futures contracts. The energy constituents consist of WTI crude oil, brent crude oil, low sulphur gas oil, and natural gas, while the metal components include, gold, silver, platinum, palladium, copper, zinc, nickel and aluminium. The collateral for the future contracts is invested in the 3-Month T-Bill.
