The J.P. Morgan EMU Government ESG Liquid Bond Index aims to track the performance of eligible fixed-rate, eurodenominated domestic government debt issued by Eurozone countries. The index currently includes liquid government bonds issued by Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal and Spain. The index applies an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) scoring and screening methodology to tilt toward issuers ranked higher on ESG criteria, and to underweight or remove issuers that rank lower.
