The Solactive Hydrogen Economy Index is designed to provide exposure to equity securities of global companies that are actively engaged in the hydrogen economy. The "hydrogen economy" is the use of hydrogen as a clean, low-carbon energy resource to meet the world’s energy needs. The universe consists of companies that are actively engaged in the value-chain of the hydrogen industry, which includes value-creating activities within the hydrogen economy such as energy input, production, transport, storage and end-use.
