Fundment, an investment platform for financial advisers and wealth managers, has secured a £3.4m investment from ETFS Capital.

Fundment will use the investment for its UK expansion which includes fast-tracking new products, developing its functionality and entry into additional UK segments.

The platform provides end-to-end solutions for wealth firms and their clients. It enables users to improve their daily operations by offering back office tools and discretionary investment management solutions.

Over the next 12 months, Fundment plans to launch numerous products which includes a corporate workplace pension and an auto-enrolment solution.

Advisers, wealth managers and their clients can take advantage of the platform and its solutions to adapt to the digitisation of the industry and the fast-changing investment landscape.

Graham Tuckwell, chairman at ETFS Capital, commented: “Fundment is a business with robust foundations, which is proving the importance and value of a Digital First approach.”

Ola Abdul, founder and CEO at Fundment, added: “Our technology and team are well positioned to expand having grown rapidly in the last 12 months and now onboarding around two new wealth clients weekly.”

ETFS Capital has provided strategic funding for several firms in the investment industry including Velox in June and WealthKernel in January.
