White-label ETF issuer HANetf has appointed Torsten Dueing as head of ETC structuring in a raft of new hires for the firm.

Dueing joins from Nomura where he spent almost four years overseeing the development and project management of index-linked quantitative strategies globally.

Prior to this, he spent eight years at Credit Suisse, first working in their commodity division before moving to their quantitative and systematic investment strategies desk.

Reporting to Manooj Mistry, COO at HANetf, Dueing will be responsible for the growth of the firm's ETC products including commodities, carbon offsets, crypto and other alternative assets.

Elsewhere, the firm has appointed Himanshi Rastogi director of marketing and Vincent Chan as a business development director.

Reporting to co-CEO Hector McNeil, Rastogi will be responsible for all marketing functions including brand and advertising, digital marketing, events, content and communications.

She joins from Aviva Investors where she was the global lead for institutional marketing, growing the brand and assets under management through pension schemes, insurers and consultants. Rastogi also previously held roles at Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) and M&G Investments.

Chan will oversee the business development in Asia, EMEA and North America. He joins from Krane Fund Advisors and was previously head of index and quantitative investment in ICBC Credit Suisse.
