HANetf poaches Italian sales head from LGIM

Dellepiane previously spent eight years working in capital markets

HANetf has hired Annacarla Dellepiane as head of Italian sales from Legal & General Investment Management.

In her new role, Dellepiane (pictured) will be responsible growing the company’s Italian sales capability across its range of thematic, commodity, crypto, carbon offsetting and active ETF products. 

Dellepiane joins from LGIM where she spent three years as head of ETF capital markets, EMEA.

Prior to this, she worked at BlackRock for three years between 2013 and 2016 before joining State Street Global Advisors in the ETF capital markets team.

Dellepiane accompanies a raft of new hires by HANetf including Terry Wood as director of business development and Philip Turner as director of operations and Ridhima Sharma as investment writer and content manager.

Based in Italy, she will report to Simon Dale, head of sales at HANetf.

Commenting on the new hires, Hector McNeil, co-CEO of HANetf, said: “Thematic ETFs are booming across Europe as investors see the advantages of ETFs to beyond single stock selection.

“As such, to support this growth, we have welcomed new faces to the HANetf team across our sales, product business development and marketing teams.” 

Dellepiane added: "I am very excited to join HANetf as head of Italian sales and continue to build on the good work that Edoardo Passaretti and the team have already achieved and help the firm to further build on our strong distribution capabilities in Italy."
