Moorgate Benchmarks has appointed Nash Jooma as independent chairman of its benchmark oversight committee.
Jooma (pictured) has 30 years’ experience within capital markets having held senior roles at the Financial Conduct Authority, Citi and Commerzbank.
He also has experience in the establishment of compliance and governance structures in the benchmarking space having recent done consultancy work at Lloyds and JP Morgan.

“His wealth of experience in compliance is a massive step in further strengthening the governance of the services we offer.”
Moorgate Benchmarks has made a number of hires this year including Julian Taylor who joined as head of business development in April and Tim Black as head of governance in March.
