Rize ETF has appointed Tom Barker as a product specialist as the firm aims to expand its range of thematic ETFs, ETF Stream can reveal.

Barker joined at the end of October from Invesco where he spent over three years as an ETF product specialist.

Prior to this, he was a marketing specialist at Jupiter Asset Management and a senior research analyst at alternatives data provider Preqin.

In his new role, Barker will help the team as it looks to expand its product offering. Based in London, he will report directly to the firm’s founders.

Commenting on his appointment, Rahul Bhushan, co-founder of Rize ETF, said: “As demand for our thematic products continues to swell, we continue to strengthen our team.

“Tom's experience greatly enhances the already high standard of intellectual capital at Rize ETF and he will help us to continue to harness long-term opportunities as future trends emerge."
