UBS AM appoints ETF capital markets head

UBS Asset Management has hired former HSBC ETF trading head Pravin Bagree as head of ETF capital markets,

can reveal.

Based in Switzerland, Bagree will be responsible for all aspects of capital markets including ETF spreads and execution.

He spent seven years at HSBC between 2012 and 2019, most recently as head of ETF trading where he built and managed their ETF trading business before joining Aberdeen Standard Investments as an ETF consultant.

Prior to HSBC, Bagree held a number of senior roles at major banks including UniCredit, Credit Suisse and JP Morgan.
