Andrew Clare

Andrew is the Professor of Asset Management at Bayes Business School. Andrew served as a Trustee and Chairman of the Investment Committee of the £3.0bn Magnox Electric Group Pension scheme between 2011 and 2023. He also served on the £5bn Stanhope Pension Trust Investment scheme from 2009 to 2019 and as an iNED on LGIM'S UTM Board between 2019 and 2022. Prior to joining Bayes, Andrew was a Senior Research Manager in the Monetary Analysis wing of the Bank of England which supported the work of the Monetary Policy Committee. Andrew also worked as the Financial Economist for Legal and General Investment Management. In June this year he published his first work of fiction: The Old Lady.
