Brendan Ashe

Brendan Ashe is Head of ETFs within Wealth & Personal Banking at HSBC. He joined the Group in August 2018 and is responsible for ETF investment due diligence and selection.

Prior to HSBC, Brendan worked at Coutts where he managed passive fund selection across the discretionary business. He joined Coutts from Merrill Lynch Wealth Management where he established the global ETF research and due diligence process, supporting the offshore advisory business across Europe, Asia and Latin America. Prior to working in wealth management he held various product and relationship management roles in the structured finance industry.

Brendan earned a First Class Honours Masters in History from University College Cork and is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
