Nik Bienkowski

Nik is a leading specialist in Exchange Traded Products (ETPs) with 17 years’ experience in the sector and more than 20 years’ experience in the financial markets. In 2002 Nik joined ETF start-up Gold Bullion Securities as Head of Institutional Investment, which launched the world’s first gold ETF in March 2003. Nik then helped Graham Tuckwell found ETF Securities in 2005 where he became Chief Operating Officer, while helping manage the business from incorporation to over 70 staff, 300 ETPs and $22bn in AUM by October 2010. Nik then set up Boost ETP with Hector McNeil in late 2011 focussing on 3x leverage ETPs. In 2014, Boost ETP was acquired by WisdomTree where Nik was Co-CEO of WisdomTree Europe until 2016. When Nik departed, WisdomTree Europe’s 15 ETFs and 50 collateralised ETPs had $1 billion of AUM. In 2017, Nik and Hector Co-Founded HANetf to provide asset managers with a turnkey solution to enter the European ETF market. Nik has a Double degree from Melbourne University with Honours in Finance. He also holds the CFA.
