Professor Robert Shiller

Professor Robert Shiller is a Sterling Professor of Economics, Professor of Finance, and Fellow at the International Center for Finance at Yale University. He was jointly responsible for developing the Standard & Poor’s/Case-Shiller Home Price Indices for metropolitan regions in the US.

He developed the Cyclically Adjusted Price Earnings ratio, also known as the CAPE ratio with John Campbell and partnered with Barclays to develop the Shiller Barclays CAPE® Index Family. Professor Shiller is also a columnist and author of the New York Times best seller “Irrational Exuberance” and Narrative Economics.
