Amundi has partnered with Saxo Bank to offer a suite of ETFs to the bank's account holders through a distribution agreement.

The agreement will see 150 ETFs made available to customers holding a PEA or a securities account as well as legal entities holding a securities account.

The ETFs in the range include standard global, European and thematic exposures such as the Amundi MSCI World UCITS ETF (CW8) and the Amundi S&P 500 UCITS ETF (500U).

Emmanuel Monet, head of ETF, indexing and smart beta sales for France, Monaco and Luxembourg at Amundi, said: "We are seeing a growing interest among retail clients for simple and diversified digital investment solutions, and ETFs are exactly what they are looking for.

“We are delighted to announce this partnership with Saxo Bank, which demonstrates once again our commitment to democratising access to investment for all types of clients through transparent, low-cost instruments.”

ETFs are increasingly being made available to retail investors in France following the rapid uptake of the wrapper in the region.

This month, French bank LCL included 12 Amundi ETFs in its life insurance contracts amid the growing popularity of the wrapper in the region.

Additionally, a recent survey published by Quantalys Harvest Group and BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) found ETFs now feature in half of all French life insurance contracts.
