ARK Invest Europe has appointed Paul Spells as director of northern European sales from Circa5000.
Prior to this, Spells (pictured) was head of ETF sales at Circa5000 where held the role for 18 months.
He joined from Orpheus Partners where he served as sales director for just over two years.
Spells started his career at LGBR Capital, leaving the company as business development director after five years.
In his new role, Paul will report directly to James Thomas, head of sales at ARK Invest Europe.

Following its acquisition of thematic specialist Rize ETF last summer, ARK Invest Europe launched three active ETFs in April, covering innovation, genomics and artificial intelligence.
Elsewhere, Circa5000 shut its platform business in February with its client accounts absorbed by AJ Bell, adding it would focus efforts on its five impact ETFs.
