Cboe Global Markets has appointed Lida Eslami as head of exchange-traded products (ETPs) for EMEA from London Stock Exchange (LSE).
Eslami (pictured) joined the business last month and will be responsible for growing Cboe’s ETF business in EMEA, as part of Cboe's global listings offering.
She joins from the LSE, where she spent over 12 years, most recently as head of equities and ETPs and relationship management and before this was head of ETP business development.
Prior to the LSE, Eslami spent a year in the Xtrackers ETF structuring team at DWS. She also spent a year at AllianceBernstein as a fixed income investment analyst.
Last month, LSE promoted Michael Stanley to head of ETFs after over a decade at the group, responsible for managing both the listings and trading business as the group looks to develop its offering.
Cboe launched its global listing offerings in June in a bid to facilitate global access to capital and secondary liquidity for companies and ETFs.
It means all Cboe-listed stocks in the US and Canada can also be made available for trading in the Netherlands and the UK.
