From passing high-level finance exams to creating a market-beating wealth manager, the influence of machine learning on the investment industry is likely to be sizable.
While these specific examples may be a long way off, asset managers and index providers are already investing heavily in AI in a bid to refine their data collection and create more innovative and alpha-generating thematic products – with some anticipating ChatGPT to play a role in the future.
