Data and analytics platform ETFbook has appointed Tomas Frabasile as senior product manager.

In his new role, Frabasile (pictured) will be responsible for driving product innovation and strategy.

This means he will oversee turning client requirements into product features and managing key projects, alongside leading market research efforts to identify new opportunities for growth and product development.

Frabasile joins from STOXX where he was head of market intelligence and was previously at Allianz Global Investors as business manager and vice president in the global strategy department.

Prior to Allianz Global Investors, Frabasile was at McKinsey & Company where he held the role of knowledge specialist in asset management.

Commenting on the appointment, Bartlomiej Igla, head of technology, at ETFbook, said: “With his exceptional expertise in market intelligence within the ETF space and his methodical approach, I am confident he will elevate our platform, offering a smoother user experience and a broader range of valuable insights.

Pawel Janus, head of analytics at ETFbook, added: “His extensive expertise in designing market intelligence tools and experience in the passive space will be a tremendous asset as we work to enhance our offerings and scale our ETFbook platform onto a global level.”

ETFbook appointed Jonathan Parsons as head of solutions last summer to develop and manage the firm’s strategy.
