Fidelity International has hired Roxane Philibert as ETF product specialist from BlackRock.
In her new role, Philibert (pictured) will focus on positioning its ETF capability to clients and supporting the growth of active and index ETFs across Europe.
Philibert spent over five years at BlackRock as an ETF strategist, focusing on equity and commodities ETFs with EMEA-based clients.
Neil Davies, ETF product director at Fidelity International, said: “As part of our ongoing commitment to develop active ETF capabilities, this is a critical role in supporting clients on their journey into active ETFs. Roxane has the experience needed to make this a great success.”
Commenting, Philibert said: “I look forward to contributing to the growth of [Fidelity’s] active and index-based ETF range and helping drive ETF adoption among EMEA-based clients.”
Fidelity recently had its head of ETF capital markets poached by Robeco ahead of the launch of the firm’s first ETF later this year.
Fidelity International also appointed Andrea Semino as ETF and index sales director for Italy from Credit Suisse Asset Management earlier this year.
