HANetf head of European sales Simon Dale is set to leave the business at the end of February after almost three years.

Dale (pictured) joined the exchange-traded product (ETP) issuer in April 2021 and has been responsible for heading up the firm’s sales team in Europe.

However, he will leave HANetf at the end of February. The firm did not comment on a potential replacement.

Prior to HANetf, Dale worked as head of sales at the now-defunct Woodford Investment Management, the firm that was founded by star fund manager Neil Woodford which collapsed in 2019.

He also spent a year at Matthews Asia between 2013 and 2014 and worked at Invesco between 1996 and 2013.

In a LinkedIn post, Dale said: “Leading the UK and European sales team has been a total privilege and I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to build and mentor such a talented group of people.

“During this time we have launched many innovative and exciting strategies for investors and through strong teamwork, determination and a client-first approach, we have accomplished a great deal and had some great success.”

Earlier this year, the group launched the Sprott Junior Uranium Miners UCITS ETF (URNJ).

It has also undergone a product restructure in the past few months, merging and closing several ETFs on low demand.
