HANetf has completed another significant hire with David Patterson joining as director of UK and Ireland sales.
Patterson joins from Deutsche Asset Management where he was head of UK wholsesale distribution, helping to develop the company's UK coverage of exchange traded products and strategic beta funds.
The independent white-label ETF platform has been busy in the past few months adding to its team. In December, Samir Patel joined the company as general counsel and Ignatius Faissal took on the post as director of product management.
At the end of January, HANetf announced it had enlisted BNY Mellon as its asset servicing provider.
Patterson is an experienced ETF hand having been working in product distribution for the past 10 years.
Hector McNeil, co-chief executive and co-founder at HANetf, said his joining would "significantly enhance" the company's distribution team.
"The UK and Ireland will be core markets for HANetf as asset managers, financial advisers, wealth managers, private banks and brokerages across the region increase their adoption and use of ETFs," he added.
McNeil said that Patterson's market knowledge would reinforce HANetf's unique proposition which combines a best-in-class ETF white-label platform with sophisticated distribution, sales and marketing services for its clients.
