Lyxor has been awarded the socially responsible investment (SRI) label from the French government for two of its environmental, social and governance (ESG) ETFs.
The SRI label was launched by the French government in 2016. To meet the standards, funds must exclude 20% of its initial investment universe on ESG criteria or the average ESG rating of a portfolio must be higher than the rating of the parent index.
Tracking MSCI indices, the Lyxor MSCI Europe ESG Leaders UCITS ETF and the Lyxor MSCI EMU ESG Trend Leaders UCITS ETF have met these criteria.
François Millet (pictured), head of ETF strategy, ESG and innovation at Lyxor, commented: “This label recognises Lyxor’s expertise in conceiving high-quality and innovative ETFs, encouraging the transition towards a more sustainable economy”.
Lyxor’s ESG ETF range has nine products with over $1bn assets under management (AUM).
