Wealth manager Omba Advisory & Investments has launched a model portfolio service (MPS) range using ETFs for financial advisers.
The suite is made up of eight portfolios comprising a six-strong global core range, ESG global equity and blended UK and global equity strategies.
The firm launched the MPS in response to growing demand for low-cost solutions from financial advisers as they look to meet consumer duty expectations.
The core models consist of five portfolios ranging from 100% fixed income to 100% equity, as well as a sixth global thematic equity portfolio.
The overall charges figure (OCF) ranges from 0.31% for 100% fixed income to 1.06% for the 100% equity models.
Omba said the fixed income segment of the portfolio will be made up entirely of ETFs, with the equity exposure coming from Omba’s global equity fund of ETFs and the Omba Global Thematic fund, comprising ETFs and direct stock exposure.
The ESG global equity MPS comprises exclusively Article 8 and 9 ETFs with an OCF of 0.54%.
Finally, the UK and global equity portfolio – designed for investors with a home bias – has an OCF of 0.86%.
The group said it can be flexible with its offering to meet client demand.
The MPS is available through third-party platforms Quilter and Transact.
Last week, UK-based asset manager Omnis Investments launched a managed portfolio service (MPS) of four portfolios, each with a 30% allocation to ETFs.
