Amundi has expanded its partnership with Scalable Capital to offer its ETFs on its platform.
Scalable investors have access to over 300 Amundi ETFs, covering all major asset classes, geographies and its climate and thematic strategies, which can now be purchased without order fees from €250 in a bid to "provide easier access" to investors.
It comes as issuers continue to partner with digital wealth platforms in a bid to capture the burgeoning retail market in Europe.
Amundi will also provide videos, blog posts and newsletters to Scalable investors.
Julius Weller, vice president broker at Scalable Capital, said: “Our cooperation is not only based on the ETFs themselves, but also on the expertise of Amundi, one of the largest asset managers in the world, which we are glad to share with our clients.”
Gaetan Delculée, global head of digital distribution and ETF sales a Amundi, added: “Digital platforms such as Scalable Capital account for a large part of the growth in the ETF business.
“This partnership further demonstrates our commitment to providing investors with solutions in line with their expectations and reflects our dedication to allow ETF access to all-type of investors.”
Retail investors use of ETFs has been growing in recent years with France experiencing a strong uptick.
ETF transactions made by French retail investors hit one million for the first time in the first quarter of 2024 as the wrapper continues to see double-digit growth in the region.
Scalable Capital has seen its clients' assets double to €20bn since August 2022 with the growth largely attributed to high demand for ETFs.
Despite this, a recent Euroclear report warned retail investors of ETFs face several headwinds, the planned ban on payment for order flow (PFOF) and high trading fees.
