Tabula Investment Management has appointed Franco Mancini to manage the firm's Italian speaking coverage.
In his new role, Mancini (pictured) will be responsible for targeting a broad range of institutional investors across Italy and Lugano.
Prior to Tabula, he was part of the business development team at Redhedge Asset Management.
He also acted as credit sales for BNP Paribas’ FICC department as well as holding similar roles at Morgan Stanley, Mediobanca and Goldman Sachs.
Tabula’s Lytle: Only using long products is like a toolbox full of screwdrivers
Michael John Lytle, CEO of Tabula, commented: “Italy is a vital market for ETFs, with a particular focus on fixed income exposure.
“Mancini brings the perfect mix of a deep understanding of the underlying fixed income sectors, long-standing investor relationships and experience in entrepreneurial fund businesses.”
Mancini becomes Tabula’s third hire of 2020 with the firm also appointing Gary Smith as head of sovereign client relationships earlier this month and Jason Smith as chief investment officer in February.
Tabula has five ETFs available covering both long and short credit indices, corporate bonds and alternative risk premia. The firm hopes to launch several new products in the coming months.
