Tabula has expanded its sales team in Italy with the appointment of Silvia Della Foglia from Citi.
In her new position, Foglia (pictured) will be responsible for distributing Tabula’s ETF range across Italy and Italian-speaking Switzerland.
Previously, she was a director at Citi for 15 years to December last year, responsible for G10 rate sales to Italian institutions including asset managers, insurance companies, banks and wealth managers.
Prior to this, she spent seven years as a vice president at Morgan Stanley where she was responsible for fixed income sales to Italian clients.
Franco Mancini, country manager for Italy at Tabula, said: “Silvia is a highly-experienced professional in fixed income markets. Our business has ambitious plans for 2022, and I look forward to Silvia playing a key role in delivering our unique solutions to Italian investors.”
Foglia added: "I am thrilled to join Franco Mancini to cover Tabula’s Italian clients. Tabula’s ETF offering, from inflation protection to Paris Agreement aligned exposures, aims to address important client needs."
She becomes the firm’s second recent sales hire after Woon Kim joined its UK sales team from WisdomTree last week.
