Fideuram Asset Management Ireland, a division of Fideuram Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking, Italy’s largest private bank, has entered the ETF market with the launch of six new funds on its D-X platform.

The range includes three equity and three bond ETFs. All are classified as Article 8 under the Sustainable Financial Disclosure Regulation (SFDR).

The three equity ETFs will seek to track the performance of mid and large-cap equity indices in different regions, all screened for ESG criteria.

  • D-X MSCI Europe Screened UCITS ETF (DXEU)

  • D-X MSCI World Screened UCITS ETF (DXWO)

The bond ETFs will seek to replicate the performance of various Eurozone government bond indices across a range of maturities. Countries with an ESG rating of AA or above have a higher weight in each index.

  • D-X Bloomberg MSCI Euro Government Bond 1-3 Years UCITS ETF (DXG3)

  • D-X Bloomberg MSCI Euro Government Bond 3-5 Years UCITS ETF (DXG5)

  • D-X Bloomberg MSCI Euro Government Bond 7-10 Years UCITS ETF (DXG10)

Luisa Fischetti, head of Italy ETFs at Borsa Italiana, Euronext Group, introduced the listing on Friday.

“This curated range of ETFs…underscores the commitment to promoting responsible investment,” she said.

The listing “reinforces Euronext Group's leadership as a key European market for these instruments and further highlights the importance of the Italian market for bond ETFs.”

Gianluca Serafini, co-general manager of Fideuram Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking, described the range as a “new milestone” in terms of their offering.

“Our objective is to offer a constantly evolving, client-focused advisory service that is dynamic and integrated into the advisory model,” he added.

State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) have been appointed to manage the D-X platform, while State Street Investment Services will provide all the administrative services.
