The Bloomberg Euro Government Bond 30 Year Term Index measures the performance of Euro denominated government bonds issued by member states of the European Economic and Monetary Union. The bonds will have been recently issued and have remaining maturity (i.e. the time from issue until which they become due for repayment) of between 15 and 30 years and a minimum amount outstanding of €2 billion. The bonds will, at the time of inclusion in the Index, be investment grade (i.e. meet a specified level of creditworthiness).
