The Low Carbon 100 Europe PAB Index aims to select companies having the lowest carbon intensity at their respective sector or homogeneous sub-sector levels of the ICB industry classification according to the "best-in-class" approach, and with the objective of approximating the sectors' weights in the universe. Index applies modified weighting based on Climate score, Sectorial & Green allocation and Free Float Market Capitalisation. The Index seeks compliance with Paris Aligned Benchmark (PAB) objectives via weight adjustments following core selection and preliminary weights.
