All eight ETFs track an ESG or socially responsible investment index by MSCI.
SBIW, SBIZ, SBIE and SBIU track the MSCI ESG Universal select index family which incorporates an ESG filter for their respective geography exposures.
These indices include companies that have a significantly strong ESG profile, measured by MSCI, and have a positive trend in improving this profile.
SADW, SADE and SADU track the MSCI Leaders Select 5% Issuer Capped index which selects the 50% ESG front-runners of each sector for their respective geography exposures.
SRHE tracks the MSCI EMU SRI 5% Capped index which is comprised of large- to mid-capped stocks from 10 developed markets that meet MSCI’s ESG rating standards.
MSCI’s 5% capped indices restrict each stock’s weight to 5% which limits the concentration risk.

Fannie Wurtz (pictured), head of Amundi ETF, indexing and smart beta, said: “We strongly believe that ETF and index management has a critical role to play in the accelerating adoption of responsible investing among all types of investors.
“We have seen that there is no one size fits all approach to responsible investing and our ETF range reflects precisely that.”
