Coutts has named former AJ Bell head of research Alena Kosava as an investment director.
Kosava (pictured), who is a member of the ETF Stream ETF Buyers Club, joins the private bank having left AJ Bell in June and will be responsible for multi-asset investing.
She spent just over a year at the online platform where she was head of investment research, responsible for the core investment solutions across the business.
During her time at AJ Bell, she covered ETFs and featured in ETF Stream’s Expert Investors series.
She was brought in to replace Ryan Hughes at AJ Bell, after he was promoted to head of investment partnerships.
In October, AJ Bell named Paul Agnell as head of investment research from Square Mile.
Prior to here time at the platform, Kosava was head of collectives multi-asset multi-funds manager at Avellemy, responsible for bringing the investment function in-house.
She also spent eight years at Evelyn Partners, starting out as fund analyst before becoming director of equity and alternative strategies.
