Waystone ETF has hired Kevin Schrader as European ETF senior sales director as it continues to expand its ETF business.

Schrader (pictured) joins from Boston Partners Global Investors where he was senior business development manager, responsible for distribution of active value equity strategies in the UK.

Prior to this, he was head of global financial institutions at Robeco and held a similar role at BNY Mellon shortly before.

The hire comes as Waystone expands its ETF business, recently agreeing a deal with Northern Trust Asset Management (NTAM) to take over its Irish ETF platform, becoming a white-label provider for the issuer.

Paul Heffernan, CEO of Waystone ETFs, said: “It is fantastic to witness the growth of our European ETF platform and with Kevin’s expertise, we are now even better placed to continue to expand in what is fast becoming a key arena for issuers.

Schrader added: “Waystone is at the forefront of ETF developments, with an already exemplary track record of delivering for large institutional asset managers. I look forward to playing a key role in the continued growth of the business.”

The ETF white-label market has seen an uptick in recent months as active managers flock to launch their strategies in an ETF structure.
