Europe’s first white label ETF platform HANetf has rehired Harriet Ssentongo as sales director for Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg (BeNeLux).
Ssentongo (pictured) spent seven months at HANetf between November 2017 and May 2018 before re-joining last month.
Prior to this, she spent five years at WisdomTree Europe in a variety of roles, most recently as director, UK and Ireland wealth management and private banking sales.
She joined WisdomTree Europe from Boost following the acquisition in 2014, where she spent two years as a sales executive.
Reporting to co-CEO and co-founder Hector McNeil, who she worked with at both Boost and WisdomTree Europe, she will be responsible for ETF sales to institutional investors, wealth managers and private banking clients.
McNeil commented: “Harriet’s considerable knowledge of the market and understanding of investor needs adds to our offering, reinforcing our unique which combines a full-service ETF white-label platform with distribution, sales and marketing services for on-platform funds.
“The BeNeLux region is an important and growing ETF market for us as asset managers, private banks, brokerages and financial advisers continue to increase their use of ETFs.”
Last week, it was revealed McNeil and HANetf co-CEO and co-founder Nik Bienkowski were named in the top 10 of ETF Stream's 30 Index, which acknowledges the 30 most influential experts across the European ETF industry.
