Coppell joins from BlackRock where he was an asset reconciliation analyst while Trundle comes from Last Word Media where he was a sales manager.
WisdomTree the last takeover target?
Alexis Marinof, head of WisdomTree Europe, commented: “This is an important hire for us as we increase our sales coverage across the UK and Nordics.
“Ravi brings deep knowledge of the UK investment management industry, particularly within the ETF market and across a wide range of traditional and smart-beta ETP strategies.
“This wealth of experience allows Ravi to tackle varying investor challenges, enhancing our European sales capabilities.”
Azad added: “WisdomTree continues to develop differentiated products offering distinctive exposures across asset classes.
“This presents an exciting opportunity to leverage my experience and to contribute to the future success of WisdomTree in Europe.”
The firm made a number of changes to its UK distribution team last year. Following the departure of Pav Sharma to Amundi, ETF Stream revealed, Woon Kim, who joined the firm from Jupiter Asset Management in July as part of the Nordic sales team, is now also responsible for distribution in the UK.
