WisdomTree has made a number of changes to its UK sales team amid the departure of Pav Sharma to Amundi earlier this month.
Woon Kim, who joined the firm from Jupiter Asset Management in July as part of the Nordic sales team, is now responsible for distribution in the UK.
Kim joins former colleague Jemma Arnold, associate director at WisdomTree, who also joined the firm from Jupiter in 2018 to focus on UK distribution.
Sharma, who joined Amundi as a senior sales specialist, ETF Stream revealed, spent a year at WisdomTree where he was responsible for distribution across the UK and Ireland. He came to WisdomTree following the $611m acquisition of ETF Securities, which completed in Q1 2018.
The reshuffle comes amid a period of major change for WisdomTree, who saw its European head David Abner depart in July after 11 years with the ETF provider.
He was replaced by the firm’s COO for Europe, Alexis Marinof, who joined WisdomTree from State Street Global Advisors where he was head of SPDR ETFs, EMEA.
Furthermore, as part of the final ETF Securities integration, WisdomTree announced in July it was closing 192 ETPs which were either duplicative or products the firm felt were no longer needed by investors.
