Cboe has hired Hetal Patel as director of ETF listings after her departure from the London Stock Exchange (LSE) in May.

Patel will be responsible for pitching listing opportunities to asset managers, managing relationships with members of the ETF ecosystem and working with market participants to improve trading.

Previously, she worked at the LSE for just under 12 years, latterly as head of business development for exchange traded products (ETPs).

Patel joined LSE from Lyxor, where she held the role of ETF sales strategist.

ETF Stream contacted Cboe for comment.

The LSE has seen a string of senior departures over the last 12 months, with former head of ETPs Michael Stanley departing the business after a decade.

Patel and Stanley’s departures marked the halving of LSE’s ETF team.

Last year, Lida Eslami also departed the LSE after 12 years at the firm and moved to Cboe as head of ETPs for EMEA.
