ETC Group has appointed Ronald Richter as director of investment strategy and Wendy Langridge as chief regulatory officer.
Based in London, Richter joins from Atitlan Asset Management where he served as head of operations for two years.
Prior to this, he held various roles in the alternative investment industry as investment, sales and operational side within asset management, banking, fund management and distribution companies.
Richter has also held senior roles at a Swiss private bank, a fund of hedge funds manager and a digital asset manager.
Also based in London, Langridge was previously chief compliance officer at ED&F Man Capital Markets for two and a half years, where she joined from BCS Prime Brokerage Limited as chief regulatory officer.
She has also held senior compliance roles at Pipeline Financial Group and WMG Services.
Commenting on the appointments, Tim Bevan, CEO of ETC Group said: "They bring extensive industry experience and expertise in both compliance and governance, and sales and operations as well as investment strategy.
“As the industry embarks on an important year with new markets opening, we believe that we are creating products and building a team that will lead the industry."
The news follows ETC Group expanding its crypto range with the launch of an ethereum staking exchange-traded product (ETP) last month.
