Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) has hired Jessica Lana as part of its ETF distribution team.
Based in London, Lana joins from Bank of America as an executive director.
It comes as the group’s head of EMEA ETFs Peter Thompson announced his retirement from the business last month.
Lana spent five years at Bank of America, most recently as vice president of institutional commodity sales for ETFs in EMEA.
Prior to this, she managed the ETF sales and trading team at Macquarie Group and also spent five years as a director of institutional sales for Italy, Malta and Switzerland at ETF Securities.
GSAM did not say who would be replacing Thompson but added the firm's head of ETF specialists and capital markets Brendan McCarthy will continue to lead its ETF efforts partnering with distribution, product and portfolio management teams.
JP Morgan Asset Management global head of ETF solutions Bryon Lake joined Goldman Sachs Asset Management GSAM in May.
GSAM unveiled a global green bond ETF in February, its first ETF launch since October 2022.
