HANetf has appointed Joshua Palmer as head of business development from EPIC Investment Partners.
Based in London, Palmer (pictured) will be responsible for promoting the firm’s white-label exchange-traded product (ETP) platform across passive and active strategies.
Palmer previously spent two years in business development at Stratton Street Capital before it was acquired by EPIC Investment Partners. Following the acquisition, he spent a year as the firm’s vice president of distribution.
Prior to this, he held other roles in business development and sales including three years in business development at Garraway Capital Management and two years in institutional sales and marketing at Brook Green.
Palmer commented: “I am delighted to be joining HANetf, a company that has grown rapidly since its founding in 2017. I look forward to working to grow its white-label ETF platform in 2023 and beyond.”
He becomes the firm’s second hire of the year so far after appointing Tim Darcy as an ETF operations specialist in January.
Darcy has over 16 years in ETFs at firms including WisdomTree, BNY Mellon, Openheimer Funds and Invesco.
This followed two key hires last year, with Shane Hickey appointed as senior legal counsel from DWS in July and Torsten During as head of the firm’s newly created exchange-traded commodities (ETCs) division from Nomura last April.
