Fixed income ETF specialist Tabula Investment Management has appointed Gary Smith as head of sovereign client relationships.
The newly created role will require Smith (pictured) to develop and consult with the firm’s sovereign clients.
Before joining Tabula, he held a similar role at insurance servicing company Barings after acting as global head of official institutions at BNP Paribas Investment Partners.

Michael John Lytle, CEO at Tabula, commented: “Smith has over 20 years’ experience covering some of the world’s largest asset allocators and has a key role to play in helping us build on our growth to date.”
Tabula has made a number of appointments in recent times including Robin Grant as chief financial officer last December and Jason Smith as chief investment officer in February.
