Global X ETFs has hired Morgane Delledonne as director of research following her exit from BMO Global Asset Management.
Delledonnes’ departure came as BMO pulled the plug on its European ETF business in November 2019, closing its 13-strong UCITS ETF range in January.
The firm captured roughly €600m assets under management since entering the market in 2015 and was one of the key reasons for closing down the business.

In September, Delledonne said on LinkedIn: “I am looking for a new role since I have been made redundant during my maternity leave.”
Delledonne was ETF investment strategist and vice president at BMO having joined the asset manager from ETF Securities in 2017.
The move to BMO came following WisdomTree's $611m acquisition of ETF Securities' $17.6bn European ETP business which completed in Q1 2018.
