Rize ETF has appointed Marvin Mane as associate director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland as it continues to expand in the region.
Mane joins from Bloomberg and will work alongside fellow associate director for the region Florian Berberich, who also joined from financial giant last September.
He will be responsible for growing Rize ETF’s thematic product range among the German-speaking market.
During his time at Bloomberg, Mane focused on the distribution of financial products for buy-side firms including hedge funds, asset managers and corporates.
Mane said: “Moving from an industry giant to a pioneering thematic and sustainable investing house is an exciting opportunity for me.
“It allows me to get fully engrained in helping to build a young yet rapidly growing company whose 'future-first' philosophy appeals to me wholeheartedly as a young person.”
Rahul Bhushan, co-founder and director of Rize ETF, added: “Marvin brings a lot of valuable experience to the DACH region and just at the right time, as we move into our next phase of growth and look to best serve our investor base in this increasingly important market."
Mane’s appointment is the third the firm has made since Martin Gilbert’s AssetCo purchased a majority stake in the business.
Last October, Rize ETF appointed Tom Barker as a product specialist from Invesco.
However, that was followed by the departure of the firm’s head of UK, Ireland and the Channel Islands, David Barfoot, after two years at the ETF issuer.
